Access Services

Welcome to our new Vice President of Intellectual Disability & Autism

After a rigorous search, we are excited to announce the hiring of Abby Grasso as the new Vice President for the Intellectual Disability and Autism (ID/A) division. Abby Grasso has extensive experience in human services including the Director of Business Development at Brooke Glen Behavioral Hospital, Executive Director for NAMI Montgomery County, Executive Director for Plan, and most recently Chief Operating Officer at Hope’s Destiny. Abby’s previous executive roles have uniquely prepared her for the requirements of this Vice President role. As we build for the future, our goals will be to pour into the development of our workforce and capitalize on opportunities to deliver more high-quality support to individuals and their families.

Abby’s commitment to person-centered and trauma informed care is deeply personal. Her investment in relationships and care in maximizing development opportunities for all were important factors in making her the right candidate for this role. Abby’s proven investment and success in advocacy at local, state, and national levels was another skill set that makes her a strong fit for this role at this time. With new and upcoming changes across the ODP system, it is important to have a knowledgeable, creative leader guide our division leaders and team through all the changes while embracing innovation that will provide the best support for those we serve.

“While change can be challenging, I am confident that the work we are doing today to build up our Intellectual Disability and Autism division will result in improvement for our consumers and for our workforce. We are excited to have Abby bring her experience and creativity to lead our strong ID/A team.”
Jess Fenchel, Chief Operating & Program Officer

“I am thrilled to have Abby join Access Services as a leader in the role of Vice President of Intellectual Disabilities and Autism. She brings an energy that is both inviting and refreshing. Abby shares the values of Access Services, has experience in a variety of service systems, and knows how to take advantage of the power of advocacy. Change is coming to the IDA service system and Abby is well suited to lead through both the external and internal changes that will ensure strong communities and fulfilling lives for those we serve.”
